I went back down to my hometown, Orlando, FL, this past weekend for a few days. This city has a bad reputation of being a giant tourist trap, but I miss it so much now that I am away from it. The city is genuinely beautiful and I am borderline obsessed with all the palm trees and greenery now that I don't see it every day. Growing up I couldn't wait to move away but nowadays, it's so good to go back for a little while. In the past few of years, it's developed into such a cool place with so many pockets of good restaurants and bars. Yes, the heat makes everyone a little bit crazier than the average person but I love it. The majority of these photos were taken near Lake Eola, a beautiful body of water near the downtown area.
